The Rowland Foundation warmly invites all Vermont educators to submit a workshop proposal for the Annual Rowland Conference. Our Rowland Conference workshops are offered by practitioners for practitioners, and clearly connect to the year's conference theme. The purpose of our workshops is to share new, actionable ideas that educators can bring back to their practice in schools right away. The Rowland Conference workshops emphasize learning by doing, so that participants actually experience the change we want to see in schools. Workshop presenters should also keep in mind that students, school leaders, and community members may also be in attendance. Finally, it is important to note that our workshop presenters foster community in their sessions by sharing explicit meeting agreements, a purposeful agenda, and collaborative practice techniques with all participants.
Vermont educators are invited to submit workshop proposals by using this form. Priority will be given to all proposals received on or before May 15th.
