The Foundation aspires to develop professional partnerships among the Rowland Fellows, particularly where similar projects have been identified. While the Foundation's executive director will facilitate collaboration among each new class of Rowland Fellows, the experience and wisdom of previous Fellows will be called on as part of the mentorship program.

Each Rowland Fellow is expected to serve as a mentor for at least one year and hopefully as a resource in years to come. The Foundation provides a small stipend for this mentorship.

The Executive Director will meet with past and present Rowland Fellows at various times during the year to facilitate collaboration.
